The Montenegrin has scored four goals in his last five games, but the striker insists he is still not at his best.
“I think we have put the negative period behind us. I too am improving, but I’m not at my best yet,” he grinned in the Corriere dello Sport.
“In fact, I’m just getting started.”
He added: “The most important thing is that Roma win, then the rest comes later. We are back at a good level and the results are proving it.
“It would be wonderful for me to score against Lazio again and live the emotion of netting in a derby, but above all else what matters is that Roma get the result.”
