The Italy international has been linked with a January transfer window move to City.
“This week we have not received any formal request for Daniele from Manchester City. These are all allegations without foundation,” Roma director Bruno Conti told the Corriere dello Sport.
“There was concrete interest from Real Madrid in recent months, but you know how that went, despite the fact we have maintained an excellent rapport with the Spanish club.
“We are not even considering the possibility of parting with De Rossi, as he is part of our plans.”
