Riise’s contract with Roma is set to expire in the summer of 2012 and talks over a new deal is set to be held later this month.
“My contract with Roma? We will talk about it again at some point in September,” the 29-year-old told Vg Nett.
“I think the monetary issue and the length of the deal will be a formality.
“In my future I see myself playing for Roma for a few more years and then heading to the United States.
“I really want to play in the USA, it is a dream I have had for a long time.
“I have not thought about a club yet, but where David Beckham is playing (Los Angeles Galaxy) seems like a nice place to live.”
