The 28-year-old is currently in Brazil recovering from a shoulder problem.
“I have not received any offer from Palmeiras to have Adriano back in Brazil and no one is authorised to do this [as he is under contract with Roma],” Gilmar Rinaldi was quoted as saying by globoesporte.
“He’s suffered several injuries in Rome and the worst thing is that every time he is out there are bad rumours or other nastiness. He is not even allowed to recover and rest.
“I like Palmeiras, but there is no possibility Adriano will go there. I don’t like the fact that the fans are being deceived.”
