Romanov has told Russian state newsagency RIA Novosti that he has put Hearts, FBK Kaunas and Belarussian side Partizan Minsk up for sale.
“I want to leave football. I have given the order to find buyers for all my clubs,” Romanov said.
Romanov bought Hearts in 2005.
