Ronaldo said: “The team will play for the full three points. What Scolari means by the four points idea is that if the game gets tough then a draw’s acceptable. It’s obvious that we’ll play to win even though Poland have a great team.
“I’d say that the possibilities are about 50/50 for each side. Poland have strong and experienced players, some of whom play abroad in more competitive leagues than the Polish league.
“We’re going to have give our all if we want to come away with a good result, and really put the pedal to the metal to win. As all of us really want to win we’ll have a good attitude going onto the pitch there.”
