Rooney believes Manchester United, Chelsea or Liverpool will win the title.
Rooney said: “Arsenal are a good team but in the end I think it will be down to one of the top three and I think we are in a good position.
“We would have liked to have played those two matches we have in hand.
“But if we can get some good results in those games we will be in a really good position.”
Roo added: “The title race could go down to goal difference so we need to score more.”
