Rossi left his job as Lazio coach last week.
“Goran came to me when he was still a very young lad and today he is a player with international experience,” Rossi explained to Radio Kiss Kiss.
“He is the captain of Macedonia and has played in the Champions League with Lazio. He is ready for Napoli.
“Pandev is a second striker even if with me he has sometimes played as a trequartista. He loves helping others score.
“In the last three years he has often gone into double figures, growing a lot. He certainly isn’t an outside forward.
“He almost always prefers to play central. He doesn’t have 60m in his legs and cannot cover the entire flank.
“If he were to play along side Ezequiel Lavezzi and Fabio Quagliarella, Napoli would have a formidable trio,” Rossi concluded.
