Higuain scored four goals in Real’s 4-3 win over Malaga.
Salgado said: “Higuain has been sensational since he arrived. In the first season, he played a big part in the games at the end of the season that won us the title.
“He keeps improving and if he continues, he will be a very important player at the international level.”
