Salgado joined Blackburn on a two-year deal last summer and the PRemier League side looks set to be the last major club of his career.
“In Europe, yes. I think this is enough,” the 34-year-old told the Lancashire Telegraph.
“It’s a long career with competitive teams, 10 years with Real Madrid, and now I am really enjoying it with Blackburn.
“I think it’s going to be my last in Europe, but I still think I have some exciting time ahead here. I wouldn’t keep playing if I didn’t believe that.”
“I am feeling really well,” he said. “I am playing regularly, it’s great and I think I am improving each week.
“I have settled into the Premier League and this is very important for me.
“It’s a great end of my career and I am enjoying the Premier League and the culture of football in England, and I enjoy Blackburn.”
