The 30-year-old is struggling with a claf injury and did not feature in Inter’s 2-1 victory over Bologna on Saturday.
A club announcement read: “Walter Samuel, who injured his left calf during the warm up at the Stadio Dall’Ara in Bologna, had treatment and underwent medical tests.”
