The 18-year-old has recently been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid, according to TalkSPORT.
But the youngster has ended up signing a new deal with Sao Paulo that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2015.
Lucas’ agent Wagner Ribeiro said: “This is satisfactory for both parties and the deal has also increased his wage substantially.”
