Schaaf has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2014.
Allofs’ new deal will keep him with the Bundesliga side until 2015.
He told Bremen’s official website: “It was a long way to go and we had to sort out many things in the process.
“However, it was always down to details and never up to personal disharmonies.”
Schaaf said: “It is a good thing to be able to continue what we had started. It’s good to stay on.
“We have our ambitions and we will try to further hand the Werder Bremen squad a unique complexion.”
