Kuranyi is available on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract with Schalke is set to expire.
“There is no decision taken just yet,” Kuranyi’s agent, Roger Wittmann, told Spox.com.
“Kevin Kuranyi is a player of Schalke 04 and he is on a contract to the end of the summer, this is all I am able to confirm.
“Reports he has already agreed his future are untrue.”
