Aston Villa, Newcastle and Fulham are all keen on signing the Austrian midfielder in the summer transfer market.
Bruce said: “He only has a year left and I am not trying to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes.
“He is one of our big and better players. I don’t want to lose him but we will have to be realistic.”
