Scott led Brentford to League One last season and seems fully focused on staying despite interest from the Championship stragglers.
“I’ve heard nothing,” said Scott after Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat by Norwich City in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
“When vacancies become available at clubs then names are always banded about, but I’ve heard nothing from Barnsley.
“I’m getting on with doing my job here and until someone tells me otherwise I’m going to continue.
“I’ve put a good squad together here, I think we’ve got a really good chance and I don’t want to detract from what we’re doing or take attention away from that.
“I’m very happy at Brentford and have assembled this squad for a reason and I want to make sure we can compete against Charlton on Saturday – it’s a big game and our concentration is fully on that.”
