But Manzano was full of praise for the Catalans after the 1-1 draw in the La Liga clash last night.
“The equaliser was very important for us. That gave us the belief that we could actually get a good result,” Manzano said.
“We scored a very early goal after the interval and showed that we’re at a great physical level. It’s extremely difficult to beat Barcelona, so we’re satisfied with the draw. The match could have gone either way and only a few teams can say that against Barcelona.”
He added: “Barcelona were simply superior in the opening stages of the game. They are just amazing in possession when they’re fresh. They got a bit tired later on and that affected their passing.”
