“I’m happy with the feeling that the team has given tonight, against a great opponent. We continue with our chances in the competition intact. We struggled to get this win, but it was well worth the suffering,” Manzano told AS.
“You’re happy when you win any game ever, though it is clear that there are situations in which we must further improve in attack and from midfield.
“I don’t like to point out any particular player, but I must congratulate the team. The defensive system as a whole has been pretty good, considering that the opponent had powerful attacking options. We managed to hold that defensive line and maybe we could have done a little more damage ourselves.”
