The Blanquirrojos are keen on signing the 24-year-old and are ready to make a new bid after having had a previous bid turned down.
Reports have suggested that Malaga are ready to sell Gomez for around €4million.
Sevilla coach Manolo Jimenez said: “We want to bring Jesus Gamez to Sevilla and we are convinced a resolution will be reached soon.”
