The youngster has impressed for Shrewsbury this season and his happy to pledge his future to the League Two club.
“It’s very good news for me and I’ve been hoping to be able to sign it for a couple of weeks now so it’s great to finally get it all sorted,” the 19-year-old told the club’s official website.
“Now that it’s done I just can’t wait to get my chance to get back out on the pitch and keep doing what I’ve got this contract for.
“I’m happy to be with Shrewsbury Town as the club has a big place in my heart and it’s great to be staying until at least 2013.
“It is a massive confidence booster that the gaffer, chairman and club wanted me to sign a new contract at that shows that they have the belief in me.”
