When Sneijder joined Inter from Real Madrid, the Swedish striker joined Barcelona.
“Ibrahimovic is one of the strongest strikers in the world. I remember when I was about to join Inter, but then he went to Barcelona and now Milan,” Sneijder reportedly told Sportbladet.
“Zlatan is a good person. Last week we met in Milan when he was trying to buy a house close to where I live. We may become neighbours. We talked about the match between Sweden and the Netherlands, as well as the Milan derby.”
“I wanted Zlatan to stay at Inter. I wanted to support him, because according to him with me the strikers play better. We started sending text messages, and he also spoke with [Inter president Massimo] Moratti, but when it seemed I would be coming he was leaving for Barcelona.”
