He said: “Scholesy is absolutely unbelievable. His quick feet and composure for the goal were world class.
“It was a massive performance because we showed that we have the character to play, even if we don’t lead 2 or 3-0.
“We played some fantastic football. At 1-0 down, we never lost our concentration and will to play the way we should play and it was very pleasing to be a part of it.
“When you are 1-0 down, there is always doubt in people’s minds, but the lads showed that they believe in the attacking football we play.
“We don’t try to change our approach just because we are 1-0 down. Even before Scholesy scored, we were ready to keep our minds cool and keep playing because we knew chances would come our way.
“It was just a case of making sure we had the composure to stick them in the net when they came.”
