The 31-year-old underwent surgery on Wednesday, as a result the striker will be sidelined until the New Year.
“Guly was operated on Wednesday on something on his knee and he is going to be out for nearly two months,” the Southern Daily Echo quotes Saints manager Mauricio Pochettino as saying.
