Menez scored the only goal of the match in their 1-0 victory away to Chievo.
“He scored a splendid goal, ran into space and did some marvellous things,” said Spalletti.
“He was decisive. I am not at all surprised, because I know he has exceptional skills and is a real talent. He just needs to be a bit more useful to the squad, but he is improving and will continue to grow.”
He continued: “We have to continue like this. Of course I won’t expect a repeat of the record 11 consecutive wins we had two years ago, as that was a unique achievement.
“I am just happy to see my players are in good psychological and physical shape. There was the risk they would lose faith in themselves, but they reacted and now we can even afford to do without some injured figures.”
