Bojinov has signed a five-year contract with the Portuguese side. Sporting Lisbon will pay Parma €2.6million for 80 per cent of the player’s economic rights.
Bojinov said: “I am an aggressive player on the pitch. I like and want to score goals. Sporting must always play to win. Only win and do their best.”
As part of the deal that will see Bojinov join Sporting Lisbon, the Portuguese side’s midfielder Jaime Valdes will spend the next season on loan at Parma.
