Peter Crouch and David Bentley scored the goals for Spurs.
“We have been playing well but we’ve come up against some goalkeepers in good form and it was important to get the three points,” he told Sky Sports.
“It was a good performance and I felt we deserved the win.
“Fulham had a bit of possession late on but our keeper didn’t have a lot to do.”
“I’m well pleased with David (Bentley) tonight. He came in and gave a good performance,” added the manager.
“He is a very talented player and he showed that. This is what we ask from him, that he can come in and take his opportunities.”
