Reports have suggested that Redknapp could move into the market for a new goalkeeper as Heurelho Gomes will be out of action for some time with a thigh problem.
Spurs has been linked with a move for Portsmouth goalkeeper David James.
“I couldn’t do anything with David,” Redknapp said on Sky Sports News. “I think he’s a great goalkeeper but he belongs to Portsmouth and we’re not in the market to buy another goalie.
“As long as Carlo is playing and he’s fit then we’re okay. We’ve got two top keepers, one of them is injured, but I’ve still got Carlo.”
“We’re not really chasing anybody,” he said. “If somebody comes in and offers silly money for one of our players and it is something we wanted to do, then we may go and find somebody who would improve us.”
