Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers admitted on Tuesday that the striker could be allowed out on loan.
Villas-Boas said: “It’s not fair for me to comment on that. I’m not sure of Liverpool’s intentions on Andy Carroll.
“But he’s certainly not a player we’re looking for.”
