Pulis told Sky Sports: “We don’t get greedy – every point that you get away from home you’re pleased with.
“Wigan are in a situation where they’re fighting for their lives and I felt we came and had a go at them.
“It was end-to-end at times – maybe too end-to-end for our liking being the away team – but we do look like we are going to score goals.”
He added: “You have got to give Wigan credit for the way they kept going and the way they kept at it and they had good opportunities as well.
“We have come to win the game and, like I say, the outcome is a draw but it was entertaining for the supporters.”
Stoke are currently five games unbeaten in the Premier League.
“We’ve done very, very well and, like I say, I think we’ve got more players in the team this year that can cause people problems so if we give them the chances, we’ve got a better chance of scoring them this year,” he said.
“We’re pleased, we’re bobbing along nicely but we won’t get carried away.”
