The Sun reports that Pulis has turned his attention from Tottenham duo Peter Crouch and Wilson Palacios to Barton and Bendtner.
Bendtner would cost Stoke around £8million, while Barton is available for nothing.
Bendtner has fallen even further down the pecking order at the Emirates this summer, after the arrival of Gervinho.
