Huth has been handed the ban following his clash with West Ham defender Matthew Upson at the Britannia Stadium on Satuday.
Huth caught Upson in the face with his swining arm, but referee Martin Atkinson missed the incident.
A statement on the FA’s official website read: “At a Regulatory Commission hearing today, Stoke City defender Robert Huth was given a three-match suspension to be served with immediate effect.
“Huth admitted a charge of violent conduct relating to an incident involving West Ham defender Matthew Upson during the Premier League match on Saturday, 17 October.”
