The 23-year-old impressed for Celtic in the 5-0 win over Hibernian on Sunday.
Stokes has just over a year left on his current contract with Celtic.
Stokes said: “I have another season remaining on my contract and an option after that but a new deal? Of course, because I’ve never been happier at a club.
“Listen, I can’t see myself playing for anyone else for a long time if the offer is on the table.
“Without a doubt the manager here has made me a better player. I know when he hammers me it’s for my own good as he wants to get the best out of me.
“I probably didn’t realise that the first couple of times he had a go at me in the past but I do now. Yes, this was my best performance under him and I’m delighted to be back in the team and on the scoresheet again.”
