Stuttgart lost 4-2 against Leverkusen in their clash in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
“The defeat is a hard blow for us and it really hurts. The team did a lot of things right today and worked really well,” said Labbadia.
“At 2-2, we came closer to getting the next goal. We were at least on a par with Leverkusen, but at the moment almost every shot on goal ends up in the back of the net.
“After the equalising goals we unnecessarily gave the ball away far too easily. In the odd scene we were also too inattentive in our own penalty area. On the whole, we just concede too many goals.”
