Pavlyuchenko’s agent, Oliver Wendt, hinted yesterday that the striker could leave Spurs in the January transfer window.
Wendt said: “There is interest from some clubs in England and Germany, but Roman has two more years on his contract.
“It is not in our hands if he can move. The decision is Tottenham’s if they let him go or not.”
Sunderland are keen to bring in a new striker after just having sold Darren Bent and having lost Danny Welbeck for two months following knee surgery.
The Mirror claims Spurs want at least £14million for Pavlyuchenko.
