Henderson scored his first goal of the season and the only goal of the game against the Hammers.
He told Sky Sports: “It’s been a long time since I scored.
“I’ve been working on my finishing in training and it paid off today.
“I think the manager does want me to score more from midfield, so that was good, but the main thing was the performance and the points.
“I’ve been disappointed with the way I’ve played over the last couple of weeks so it was good to put it right today.”
