Zenden has become a key player at the Stadium of Light.

“I don’t drink, I don’t smoke. I have always taken care of myself and I have been lucky with injuries. Your body is your tool, so why destroy it?
“The younger players are old enough to make their own mistakes and learn from them. Jordan doesn’t drink and he has gone all the way up to the England squad.
“If you look at the Tottenham stats, I was up there with Jordan. We covered the most ground.”
