The Ghana international scored a goal in the 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic.
“I think my goal was really nice. Perfect,” he told the Sunderland Echo.
“The goal was very, very amazing and it was great that it was for my new club.
“Jordan (Henderson) did so well, taking one man on and producing a perfect cross to create my goal.
“It was one of my best goals, though – I don’t score goals like that all the time!”
