Cisse left Liverpool in 2005 and joined Marseille, after struggling with injuries at Anfield.
“I would like Liverpool to win the league, for having played there,” he told Setanta, “But Chelsea are going to be tough adversaries for them.”
Cisse is currently on-loan to Sunderland from French side Marseille, but he could make his move permanent in the summer.
