The 21-year-old has signed a four-year contract with Hannover and joins the club for an undisclosed fee.
“Daniel Royer can use both feet and can be used flexibly on both wings with his pace,” said Hannover director of sport Jorg Schmadtke.
“We are pleased that one of Austria’s biggest talents has chosen Hannover.”
