Swansea have made an impressive start to their spell in the Premier League and Rodgers is keen to build on it.
“We are looking to identify targets to keep us strong,” said the Swansea boss.
“To give us the opportunity to stay in the league, for that I feel we need between four to six players.
“We’ve done very well up until now with the players that we have.
“But you go into the second part of the season as you get towards May, you are going to need all of your players.
“I wanted to assess it through to January, the players that allowed us to arrive in this position deserved that opportunity.
“That is something we will look to do and I’m sure the club want to try and solve that as well.”
