Swansea have agreed to pay £1.5million for the 27-year-old. Vorm has signed a three-year contract with the club.
Vorm already knows a lot about Swansea after following the progress of his friend, Cedric van der Gun, at the club.
“When Cedric came here I was watching on the internet and looking out for all of Swansea’s results,” said Vorm.
“I don’t know anything about the other clubs in the Championship last season, but I know a lot about Swansea.
“The style is very much the same as we like to play in Holland, and similar to Spain, and that is a major attraction for me.
“The manager wants to play the right way, and he and the club showed that they really wanted me. That is very important.”
