The 17-year-old came close to joining Stoke City, but ended up moving to Parkhead.
Hook said: “Stoke took a long time to get the papers for me to sign. Then I was contacted by Celtic, went over there for a trial and was signed.
“It felt better than Stoke. Celtic’s youth academy is better and it felt perfect.”
