Chelsea signed the 25-year-old England winger in a £21million transfer from Manchester City in 2005, but he has struggled to get a regular place in Jose Mourinho team.
Wright-Phillips said: “I know I’m happy here, and everybody wants me here. What everybody talks about is their own problem, to be honest with you.
“Training with the lads here doesn’t give you anything but confidence and all I have to do is take it on to a big stage like I did against Sofia.
“The players, my family and friends have always believed in me when times have been tough and that also goes for the supporters.
“They have always been right behind me and that’s why I clapped them after I score to let them know it was for them.
“I don’t see why we can’t win the Champions League with the players we have and the way we’ve been playing, it is more than possible.”
