Sven-Goran Eriksson has been instructed to appoint a new manager at the club within two weeks.
Eriksson first tried to bring in Roberto Mancini, but the former Inter boss was not interested in the job.
Tayor said: “Like any manager that is out of work I want to get back into the game.”
