News of the World says City are ready to agree a £32million deal to sign Tevez while they will make a £10million offer for Gareth Barry.
City will face competition from Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs for Barry.
Liverpool and Chelsea are reported to be interested in signing Argentinian striker Tevez, but only City are ready to meet Kia Joorabchian’s £32million asking price.
City will offer Tevez a four-year deal worth around £140,000 a week.
