The Mirror reports that Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is considering letting the Spaniard return to Spain on a temporary deal in order to get back in the form he showed during his time at Liverpool.
Torres has scored just one goal for Chelsea since joining the club in a €57million deal from Liverpool in the January transfer window.
The Blues will not allow the striker to join a rival English club on loan.
Malaga and Atletico Madrid are possible destinations should Torres leave on loan in January.
