The 30-year-old has also been linked with a move to Russian side Spartak Moscow.
His agent Gilmar Veloz said: “People say Spartak Moscow is an option, but English clubs are also interested.”
Sporting president Soares Franco insists the club is not looking to sell Liedson in January.
“Liedson has a contract until 2010 and we are not looking to sell players,” he said.
“Our accounts are good without player sales.”
