He said: “On the ball I don’t think there’s another talent like him in England.
“He is a wizard, but he has to learn to play with the other guys. If he learns that, he will be a Ginola for us because he is so good.
“I want to play him in the hole, but for an 18-year-old lad he is not covering a lot of ground so that is why we will work on him every day.
“He must be a bit sharper and if he does that he can make our stadium like Sunderland’s Stadium of Light. Adel is amazing. Even when he loses the ball three times, he still tries for a fourth time.
“But if he loses a lot of balls and you’re 1-0 down, then the crowd will be less pleased with him. He’s got to learn to combine all his qualities and be a team player as well.”
