News of the World says the Spurs chief could tempt Everton with a £10million bid in the January transfer window.
Reports suggest the Toffees would be interested in selling the 25-year-old for that price, due to their financial situation at the moment.
But it is also believed Everton gaffer David Moyes would want to keep the striker at the club.
