The English newspaper says Spurs could sign the Brazilian striker for £12million in the January transfer window.
Spurs have had a poor start to the season and will be looking to get a new striker in the transfer window, following the sales of Jermain Defoe to Portsmouth, Robbie Keane to Liverpool and Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United.
It is believed CSKA are ready to sell the 24-year-old striker should the right offer arrive.
